On Wednesday, 12th June 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Maizatun Mustafa of the IIUM University represented our Erasmus+ Capacity Building for Higher Education (CBHE) project at the Cluster Meeting organized by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The main objective of this meeting is to give the projects an opportunity to meet, to discuss common experiences, lessons learnt, challenges faced and to create synergies. The event was monitored by Karolina Garbaliauskaite, Project Adviser from EACEA, and was attended by representatives from the Delegation of the European Union to Malaysia, as well as representatives from all CBHE projects involving Malaysian institutions.
The IIUM team made a presentation of our CBHE project CCP_LAW – ‘Curricula development on Climate Change Policy and Law’ during the Cluster meeting’s session dedicated to ‘Best practices of CBHE projects implemented in Malaysia’. The presentation also covered our project’s progress, outlining key milestones, innovative practices, and the significant impact Erasmus+ has had on capacity building in our institution. Feedback was provided by both the EACEA and EU Delegation representatives, which are instrumental in refining our future approaches.
